Call To Intercede
Mobilizing, Equipping and Deploying Intercessors for this kairos moment of defeating demonic strongholds and advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit is “Mobilizing, Equipping and Deploying” intercessors for defeating the demonic strongholds that are blocking the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Lord Jesus, may You protect this communication from the schemes and plots of the enemy. In Jesus name. Amen. There is great blessing that God intends to pour out upon the earth that is centered in Jesus Christ. At the same time, there is great evil that Satan intends as he works to destroy the true Church of Jesus Christ and to bring death and destruction to Christians and Jews.
We have discerned that the present day strongholds that Satan is using to accomplish his purposes are one from without, “Radical Islam” and the other from within, “Liberal Progressivism.”
Another era when demonic strongholds were gaining in strength, and the means of earthly power, was after World War I with the rise of Fascism in Italy, Nazism in German, Communism in Russia, and Imperialism in Japan. While on the surface they appear very different from each other, in their heart they were all forms of tyranny and resulted in the deaths of millions of people. During this era the Holy Spirit raised up Rees Howells and the students at the Bible College of Wales(and no doubt many others less well known) as intercessors to stand in the gap and take part in defeating these strongholds in the realm of the spirit. While the holocaust took millions of lives, vast armies clashed, cities were leveled, and millions died, the intercessors were fighting in the heavenly realms.
The outcome was victory over the three of these demonic strongholds. Although there was terrible cost, it would have been even higher, or even the victory itself not obtained, had it not been for the faithful work of the intercessors.
We believe that God is calling forth intercessors, just as He did in the 1930s, to deal with these present demonic strongholds that are just as intent on blocking the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as bringing mass death and human bondage, as the ones that led to the horrors of World War II.
This morning (March 26) he saw this vision in prayer here at the Dunamis Project in Guelph, Canada. He was in the battlefield and the Lord put a sword in his hand and he heard the words, “I am recruiting new warriors for a new greater work”
I believe this is confirmation of the call Brad has received. We are called to train up “new warriors”(intercessors) for a “new greater work” (to engage these strongholds that left unchallenged will destroy our Church and the world as we know it). These warriors need to learn how to move (pray) together and follow our Commander in Chief (Jesus Christ) if we are to see victory.
Bernie had a second vision today that I believe speaks to the urgency of this call to equip intercessors. Barb F., the morning teacher, invited the participants to “ask the Holy Spirit to impress upon us who to pray for”. Immediately Bernie saw Brad Long in a power boat, speeding down a river. The impression that came with the vision was that the Holy Spirit was moving Brad quickly (and he needed to go fast) and that the direction or course (the river) he was on (the burden of high level strategic warfare) is correct.

010 Mar 25 – The Call to Intercession for Discerning the Times
Dr. Brad Long explains how all of this got started.
Recently while in prayer for the USA, I was caught up in some visions of attacks coming against the Western World. Out of this has come a call to mobilize, equip and deploy intercessors into a kairos moment of opportunity to be used by God to bring down demonic strongholds that are blocking the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Briefing # 1 – The Call to High Level Intercession
Dr. Brad Long and Steve Aceto introduce the first in a series of video briefings.
These briefings will be for “mobilizing, equipping and deploying” intercessors for this present moment of opportunity to remove demonic strongholds that are blocking the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Briefing # 2 – Reversals and the Call to Prayer
Dr. Brad Long and Steve Aceto, introduce the dynamic and critical importance of intercession. They deal first with the awareness of shifting that is taking place in the world with the financial crisis, the way the health care vote took place, the quenching of the democratic moment in Iran and etc.
Steve preached a sermon on Psalm 107 deals with the reversals taking place and points us to what is God’s purpose in these things:
When the godly see this, they rejoice, and every sinner shuts his mouth. Whoever is wise, let him heed these things and consider the great love of the Lord. (Psalms 107:42-43 NET.)
A month after this sermon was preached in 2008 a number of astounding reversals have taken place in the realm of economics and politics and for many people these reversals have been personal.
What we want to speak to is to this awareness that things are shifting and making many people very uneasy. These things taking place on earth have a spiritual dimension and may point to things taking place in the realm of the spirit. This awareness of the things shifting may well be the call for some of us to engage in the work of intercession.

Briefing # 3 – Levels of Intercession and cost
Dr. Brad Long discusses the cost of this type of intercession.
This is the mobilization phase of the project of cooperating with the Holy Spirit to equip and deploy intercessors for praying to overcome demonic strongholds. Steve and I both had experienced spiritual warfare as we started this. Steve actually did have a heart attack on Saturday of the week we videotaped. Praise God he survived, but this reminds us that there is a cost to engaging the strongholds. So you need to count the cost. Is Jesus calling you to this work? If so you can trust Him for empowerment and protection.
Not everyone is called to this!
Indeed it is very dangerous to step out into this strategic level intercessory prayer arena unless one is called.
But if you are, PRMI is offering this special intensive course to share in the Holy Spirit’s work of equipping and deploying intercessors into the battle. This is planned to last from April to December 2010 (at the end of December we will reassess what the Holy Spirit is calling us to do next).
This course will include the following:
- A series of “briefings for intercessors” in which we will help provide the tools and “intelligence” necessary for us to pray effectively. Some of the topics will include growing in our authority in Jesus Christ, naming the strongholds, how Jesus is calling us to break curses, and determining what building blocks of the strongholds we are called to pray into.
- A place for sharing and discerning the guidance we are receiving and giving feedback on the briefings. It is really easy to get off track in this work and so we urgently need a place where we can share what the Lord is saying to us and discern it together.
- A building of a network of prayer supporters who are able to provide the prayer covering as we undertake this dangerous work.
- We will be encouraging each intercessor called to this to build their own prayer team and to raise up centers for strategic intercession or become linked to already established centers. The Holy Spirit is already raising up many such prayer bases around the world, so we want to work with Him in that.
The mobilization phase is public but the equipping and deployment phase needs to be private and personal. So, like our advanced ministry courses offered by PRMI, we require a simple application be submitted. If accepted we will provide the passwords for the secure web pages.
The cost of this online course? None.
There is no charge for any of this. We work on a faith basis, which means that we trust Jesus to provide for what He calls us to do.
Obviously there is actually a huge cost to PRMI for running this site and providing the administration necessary to be involved in a worldwide ministry. (Check out our web page www.prmi.org to see all that this ministry is involved in.) It also will cost money to put together prayer events, prepare materials and so forth.
There will be opportunities provided to enable this work through prayer, financial gifts and participation.

Briefing #4 – The Moses and Joshua Work

in Briefing #4 focuses on the roles of Moses as intercessor and Joshua as the person implementing God’s intentions. Both the work of intercession and the work of implementation must act together if the demonic strongholds are to be defeated and the Kingdom of God advanced around the world.
This is why intercessors must pray for those active in governmental service, in political movements, and our soldiers on the battlefield, as well as those witnesses to Jesus Christ who are fighting on the front lines against the demonic strongholds that seek to undermine the Gospel.

Briefing #7:
Briefing # 7 is ready, but the Holy Spirit provided the guidance that it is not yet the time to publish it. So we are shifting at this time to Briefing # 8 which deals with the demonic stronghold of liberal progressivism.
I do this with some fear and trembling, as we are touching a stronghold that is destroying the Church from within. This stronghold has a political and social side that also is affecting the Western world, but for now we need to start with its spiritual expression — which is aimed right at the heart of the Church of Jesus Christ.
So, please enter into this briefing with prayer, and also pray for us as we are called to engage in the work of high-level intercession.
Briefing #8: Demonic Stronghold of Liberal Progessivism

The stronghold of liberal progressivism actively has been working against the Church since the 1900s. There is a major deception at the heart of this stronghold … that liberalism and liberal progressivism IS Christianity. In actual fact, though, it is not Christianity at all.

Briefing #10A: Piercing the demonic cloaking of the stronghold of Liberal Progressivism

It is urgent that we focus on prayers for on piercing the demonic covering that is preventing the exposé of the intentions of this stronghold both in the church and in the governments of Western Nations. Our focus will be in Canada, the United States and in the United Kingdom.
There is another reason why I am being led to call us to focus on piercing the cloaking of Liberal Progressivism instead of identifying the rest of the building blocks. I am not certain what they are! We cannot see them in any meaningful way until this cloaking is first broken.
1. We need to pray that our eyes will be opened to see those events that have taken place that reveal the intentions and purposes of the building blocks of this demonic stronghold.
In this video I give some recent events that may be revealing the nature and purposes of this demonic stronghold.
This is is very difficult for us to see clearly because for us in the USA, UK and Canada this stronghold is very close and part of our culture.
