The Flame is Getting Brighter!

“But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and   in your love for us—see that you also excel in this grace of giving.”   2 Corinthians 8:7

God is amazing.  How God encourages and engages PRMI donors is amazing.  He is good all the time.

As we celebrate our Good and Great God, we acknowledge that He requires cooperation from His children.  We may disobey.  It’s our choice.  Obviously, in the case of PRMI donors, there’s a whole lot of obedience going on.  Thank you, donors, for your faithful obedience and excelling in the grace of giving!

As a result of your faithfulness, the flame is getting brighter.  In September 2011, we launched the Sustaining the Flame Monthly Giving Program with 95 donors giving on a monthly basis.  Now, we have 110. Our overall donor count is around 1,000, which means that approximately 11% of donors give monthly.  The total dollar amount of these gifts is $11,455, which covers about 18% of our general operating budget needs.  Praise God! Listening Evangelism Dunamis Project and                                                           Intercession for the Advancement of the Gospel in the Muslim World

See a  short video of Dr. Brad Long extending to you an invitation to join in this equipping event and strategic prayer meeting.

If you cannot attend, please cover us in prayer as we move into these events. Satan really gets agitated when Christians start to move into evangelism that is empowered by the Holy Spirit. A major demonic stronghold is touched when the love of Jesus Christ starts to reach to Muslims. So, we would appreciate strong prayer covering!

     Listening Evangelism
     April 18-22

The Holy Spirit is the Director and Chief Actor in the great work of bringing people into faith in Jesus Christ. The Book of Acts is basically about the working of the Holy Spirit as He moves in successive waves to advance the Gospel from Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria to the ends of the earth.

This Dunamis Project focuses on what we call “Listening Evangelism” that is, as we listen to others, to the circumstances and to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we will be brought into this worldwide movement that God the Father launched at Pentecost of advancing the Gospel of salvation to the ends of the earth. A report on the recent “Healing Ministry of Jesus”  Dunamis Project in Japan

by Cindy Strickler, Martin Boardman and Mary Ellen Conners

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19

God’s preparation for the recent PRMI trip to Japan was evident even before the Dunamis Project on Healing began. Cindy Strickler, who led the team, was told of a miracle of healing which had happened earlier in the month in the very church where the Dunamis Project was held. Read the rest of this entry »

Prayer Campaign to Keep the Dragon of Death in its Stone Lair

A call to enter into engagement

Dr. Brad Long – sharing the vision of a dragon of death about to be released from its stone lair

Mary Ellen Conners, PRMI Prayer Coordinator, offers some guidance on engaging in this type of high level spiritual warfare

The Guidance Received (February 8, 2012)

These last few mornings I have awakened with an ominous sense of brooding evil.  This morning I finally asked the Lord, “What are you trying to tell me?”  I felt the Holy Spirit saying to me, “you must call the intercessors to high alert, as through them,  I am going to be binding the dragon of death that in the coming months Satan is intending to release from its lair.

The Dunamis Institute is now launched! And the Dunamis Institute webpage is now “alive!”

www.DunamisInstitute.org
Dunamis Institute web page

Over two years ago the Lord spoke clearly to us in our discernment process, telling us what He was calling us to do to be a part of His work of advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world.

In the midst of this guidance was the call to build an even more effective means of equipping Christians in the power of the Holy Spirit for the purpose of fulfilling the great commission of witnessing to Jesus Christ. This has now been launched as the PRMI Dunamis Institute. Read the rest of this entry »

God is getting ready to do some really exciting things in 2012

By · Saturday, January 21st, 2012 · No Comments »

This is just a very short note to ask for your prayers for the next few weeks. We have some strategic events about to take place.

January 22-24, 2012: The PRMI Board Meeting

We have presented to the PRMI Board a full plan for “nurturing the trees that have been planted.” Now what does that mean? It means that in 2010-2011 we received clear guidance from the Holy Spirit as to how we were called to put in place the means to extend PRMI’s equipping ministry as expressed in the Dunamis Project all over the world.

The key aspect of this is launching the Dunamis Institute as the means of providing the teaching. We are really excited about this and you can get a glimpse of this on our new Dunamis Institute website, www.dunamisinstitute.org, which has just gone live!

Please pray for us and for the Board of Directors as we will be making key decisions for the future.

January 25,2012: A day of equipping for the newly called Dunamis Institute Faculty and Apprentice Teachers

They will be coming from around the world! On Thursday, Jan. 26 they will be formally commissioned at the Dunamis Fellowship International annual meeting. The 25th is an intensive equipping session so that they may be able to use the Internet tools that we have just put in place to enable us to offer teaching and also keep connected across the globe.

God is so good! We thank and praise Him for His ongoing financial provision to PRMI. We are thankful for how God has called you into the PRMI family and how He uses us together to advance His Kingdom in the power of His Holy Spirit. We are very blessed by you.

We invite your generous year-end financial donations so we may continue the good work God has begun and assigned to us. For those interested in tax implications, now is the time to give your year-end gifts and grants to receive the greatest tax advantage for 2011. For most organizations and businesses (including PRMI), the last business day of the year is Friday, December 30 so it’s important to make the below transactions no later than the 30th. Giving praise for the miracle of the “Word became flesh”

Now the Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We saw his glory — the glory of the one and only, full of grace and truth, who came from the Father. (John 1:14 NET)

This Christmas Pray …

By · Tuesday, December 20th, 2011 · No Comments »

This Christmas Pray for Christians in Muslim Lands and Muslims to Come to Know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

“A Christian minister who has had heated arguments with Muslims on his TV Gospel show has been brutally attacked by three men who ripped off his cross and warned: ‘If you go back to the studio, we’ll break your legs.’”

Rev Nobel Samuel and Rev Brian Harley

(Left) The Rev. Nobel Samuel and The Rev. Brian Harley, presenting Jesus’ promises of the Holy Spirit for a TV and Internet audience in Urdu and English, at the Launch of the Growing the Church Equipping Course in the UK in November.

This event happened back in 2009 but its effects were still vivid in the heart of the Rev. Noble Samuel, the Pakistani pastor I (Brad Long) just met at the UK Growing the Church event. As he told his story of how he had been attacked by three Muslim men, I just assumed that this was somewhere in Pakistan. But then, with a shock I realized that this attack had taken place in West London, England!

It is clear that Satan is seeking to stop the advance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the Muslim world by any means possible, including not just the threat of death, but actual attacks upon Christians.

The Rev. Nobel Samuel has lived in England for 18 years and serves as the pastor and leader of the West London United Reformed Asian Christian Fellowship which is a thriving and growing congregation of people from Pakistan and India. He also has an hour-long TV program that goes all over the Urdu-speaking world via the internet. In that show, which welcomes people to call in with their questions, he has been able to share Christ with many Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs of all nationalities living in London. Many come hungry for answers to life’s questions and many have come to faith in Jesus Christ. He has also come under attacks from Muslims, and in this case was physically assaulted.
